Financial rigor. Tactical problem-solving. Formidable representation.

Property is invariably your most significant financial asset, yet the process of moving in the UK is frequently left to chance. I founded Adore Property because I find it remarkable that individuals are expected to throw themselves in at the deep end, managing solicitors, agents, brokers and lenders, without the specific, high-level skill set often required to navigate these personalities and systems. Most people attempt to undertake this mammoth task while still trying to live their lives as usual, managing families, jobs and businesses. I have found this to be a demanding, full-time role that requires constant, professional oversight.

Following a 30-year career in finance, where I honed the analytical skills of a Chartered Management Accountant, I provide a sophisticated alternative to the traditional market. I don’t just list properties for sale or find homes for buyers; I audit them. Whether I am representing a seller or a search client, my approach is built on data, discretion and a commitment to securing the preferential terms that protect your significant investment across Central London, including my home base of SE15 and East Dulwich.

I do not use the term "bespoke" lightly, as in my line of work, it is a day-to-day reality. No two properties are identical, and no two clients share the same requirements. While the legal process may follow a similar path, every transaction, be it a purchase, sale, or complex rental agreement, is specifically designed and engineered around your unique needs. There is no standard template at Adore Property; there is only the strategy that works for you.

When acting as a buying agent, I bring a unique competitive edge to the table. Because I also act as a selling agent, I know exactly what is happening on the other side of the desk. I understand the pressures selling agents face, the specific language they use and exactly what they need to see to recommend an offer to their client. This insider perspective allows me to find value where others see a dead end. In one notable case, I represented buyers interested in a property where the vendor refused to budge a single pound on price. By cross-examining the deal's structure, I successfully renegotiated the selling agent’s own fee with their client, facilitating a significant saving that was passed directly to my buyers as a discount. I know instinctively when something doesn't feel right and I have a seasoned sense for the true lie of the land.

I see myself somewhat as a property psychologist. Beyond the square footage, I help my clients circumnavigate the nuances of London locations and architectural styles to achieve a perfect synergy between their lifestyle and their environment. I am deeply passionate about property and the sense of security, tranquillity and safety it brings to our lives. I truly enjoy helping people, often providing neighbours and prospective clients with free advice to help them navigate the market. I frequently step in to manage party wall disputes, de-escalating tensions and restoring relationships between neighbours when they simply can't see a way forward. To me, every transaction is of paramount importance. I bring the same family-level commitment to every client that I brought when helping my own brother navigate his move.

The UK property system is full of complex problems and systemic flaws that are often completely different from the processes found in Europe or the rest of the world. For international investors, concepts like leasehold, which is non-existent in many countries, require a significant element of hand-holding and expert explanation. I act as the bridge between global expectations and UK reality, ensuring your capital is protected.

I believe in exploring a neighbourhood first-hand to safeguard my clients' interests. As part of my standard due diligence, I always knock on the neighbour’s doors to introduce myself and engage with the immediate community. It is paramount that I meet the people living next door to get a true feel for the environment. Because of my strong interpersonal skills, I am consistently received well. Neighbours appreciate a property advisor who takes the time to be thorough, providing my clients with an authentic, de-risked picture of their future home.

My passion for property drives my interest in sustainable living. I am currently designing a home for myself built to passive house standards, aiming for a summer 2026 build start. This project utilises Isotex building blocks, triple glazing and air source heat pumps, integrated with high-performance solar panels and MVHR to ensure a constant supply of fresh, filtered air. I am also incorporating rainwater harvesting, as I find the practice of flushing toilets with drinking water completely wasteful. Having developed my own properties, I have a granular understanding of renovation costs and modern building science that most high-street agents simply cannot match.

Beyond the 9-to-5, I operate a low-volume, high-touch consultancy. I am available when the market moves, including late nights and weekends. My panel of seasoned solicitors, all with impeccable credentials, are available to me via WhatsApp during their commutes, acting as the tactical engine that keeps your transaction on track. I’ve been known to relay offers at midnight and secure acceptances at 4 a.m. to suit a client’s schedule.

When I’m not unsticking a conveyancing chain, I stay active through yoga, badminton, squash and the gym. If you see me in Peckham, I’m likely fuelling up with a late-lunch spinach and mushroom omelette, with chili, avocado and roasted tomatoes, or looking at properties for clients, or just properties in general. I avoid advertising as most of my business comes from referrals and I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me. I offer a generous referral program for those who connect me with new clients.
